The last RCP congress was qualitatively superior, whether it was the presentations and discussions or the chats during breaks. Talking with other comrades, we noticed that we had never taken so many notes at a congress. Every session contained invaluable analysis, lessons and advice. I think it just goes to show how much we’ve developed politically over the last year – the more we develop politically, the more we’re able to learn. By the time the congress was over, the Ottawa cells were hard at work integrating and applying the lessons learned, and planning the work we’ll be doing when we get back.
With sober optimism of course, we’re confident that we’ll grow politically in the region and train the cadres we need.
